Enhanced AutoSet: The ResMed S9 AutoSet will automatically adjust the pressure and provide the exact amount of pressure required from breath to breath with the least amount of pressure required. With the ResMed S9 AutoSet you’re certain to receive a tailored experience every night to suit your specific needs.

Climate Control: The optional H5i Heated Humidifier uses intelligent humidity controlling technology to offer optimum relief from dryness and congestion. The H5i easily connects to the right side of the S9, making this a true integrated system. The S9 will automatically detect when the H5i is connected and provide you with setting options on the main color screen. Humidity levels can be adjusted Using the S9’s settings screen. An even greater level of comfort can be reached when using the optional ClimateLine Heated Tubing. Five sensors throughout the S9 system monitor the ambient temperature and airflow. The ClimateLine heated tubing also has a temperature sensor to ensure perfect relative humidity at the mask. The water chamber that comes with the H5i Heated Humidifier can be opened for easy cleaning.

Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR): EPR allows the S9 AutoSet to breath with you, not against you. The EPR feature decreases the pressure at the beginning of each breath and keeps the pressure low throughout the exhalation. The pressure is then automatically increased during inhalation. This comfort feature can be easily adjusted by the user to a reduction in pressure by 1, 2 or 3 cm. A setting of 3 would reduce the pressure during exhalation by 3cm. In this example, if the inhalation pressure was 10cm, the exhalation pressure would drop to 7cm. The EPR feature also incorporates an event detection circuit. Event detection insures the EPR will stop if a breathing event is expected or has occurred.

Both radiated noise and noise through the tube remain at a low 24dba noise level. SlimLine and (Optional) ClimateLine Tubing: Every ResMed S9 Series CPAP machines come standard with the new smaller diameter SlimLine Tubing. The 6 foot SlimLine tube is ultra-light weight and flexible. The SlimLine tubing is only 15mm in diameter, compared to standard cpap tubes at 22mm in diameter. The narrow SlimLine tubing helps to eliminate drag on your mask and improve overall mask fit and sleep comfort. The ends of the SlimLine tube are a standard size, fitting any mask without the need for a special connector or adapter.The optional 6 foot ClimateLine Tubing has an internal heated coil and mask temperature sensor that helps manage rainout throughout the hose. An even greater level of comfort of perfect humidity can be reached when using the ClimateLine Heated Tubing. The ClimateLine Tubing is 15mm in diameter. The ends of the ClimateLine tube are a standard size, fitting any mask without the need for a special connector or adapter. This tubing is only compatible with the S9 Series CPAP Machines.

Mask-Fit System: The ResMed Mask-Fit check system will effectively help ensure proper mask fitting. You can preset any mask type and run a quick 3 minute seal integrity test. The Mask-Fit icon will then appear and display a green or red smiley face. If the face is red, you can make adjustments to the mask. Once the mask seal is secure, the face will then turn green, which will then start your cpap therapy.

Advanced Data: The ResMed S9 AutoSet allows provides a snapshot of your sleep therapy directly on the device. Daily feedback is available and the Sleep Quality Indicator identifies usage, leak and AHI information. In addition the Sleep Report offers compliance and therapy data for up to 365 days. Data available includes average usage, used hours, days used, run hours and pressure. The ResMed S9 AutoSet also comes with a SD Card. This card can be used by your doctor to review more advanced information such as detailed graphical data and high resolution flow data. It stores 365 days of therapy and compliance data, 30 days of detailed data, and 7 days of high resolution flow data.

SmartStart/ SmartStop: ResMed’s Smart-Start and Smart-Stop technologies allow you to start your machine automatically by breathing into the mask. Your CPAP will stop once the mask is removed.

Intuitive Design: The S9 series offers user friendly controls, and a full color screen. The heated humidifier and the CPAP are easily removable for cleaning or traveling.

DC Power Ready: Traveling with your ResMed S9 AutoSet CPAP is now possible. The lightweight and highly portable Freedom Battery and ResMed Power Station II can power your cpap no matter where your world takes you. ResMed has designed a DC Converter specifically used to connect your S9 CPAP to a power source such as those found in a car, boat, RV, or other battery. Both the C-100 and ResMed Power Station II can effectively power your S9 machine from 1 to 4 nights depending on your cpap pressure and humidifier use.
